Professor Gaiane Simonia MD, PhD

Gaiane has been a key figure within Medicine in Georgia for many years. She is currently Chair of Internal Medicine, Head of UNESCO Chair and Head of Dept. of Strategic Development at Tbilisi State Medical University, as well as being Dean of Health Sciences at the Georgian University of Social Sciences. With her own distinguished medical and academic background, Gaiane can clearly see the crucial importance of enabling international exposure for today's Georgian learners in terms of unlocking their full career potential She is currently working with UK institutions to provide appropriate opportunities for international education, training and work experience through her new private consultancy company.
